As part of a focused “Market Review,” maconda primarily assessed Hallhuber’s current and targeted market position. This required a deep analysis of the dynamics in the relevant market for womenswear. Among other things, it was necessary to assess how the mid-price segment and the upper-middle segment would continue to develop. This area includes some often profile-weak mainstream brands on one side, as well as vertical fast-fashion providers and modern contemporary brands with a clear profile on the other. Since 2015, Hallhuber has belonged to the Gerry Weber Group, which filed for insolvency proceedings under self-administration in January. The Frankfurt and London-based asset management company Robus Capital Management has acquired 88% of Hallhuber, financed by the Luxembourg-based CSP Investment S.\u00e0.r.l., which is advised by Credit Solutions Partner GmbH. The investor thus exercised a call option it had already secured in February. At that time, Robus had provided important bridge financing for Hallhuber. Now the focus is on aligning all business areas and processes with the existing vertical business model and the consistent implementation of the omnichannel strategy.<\/p>\n\n
