In 2011, it generated revenues of approximately \u20ac61 million and manufactures specialized dosing dispensers and closures for personal care and cosmetic products, food, and household products at four production facilities in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n
Already in March 2012, Lindsay Goldberg acquired the leading manufacturer of plastic closures for consumer goods, Weener Plastik AG from Lower Saxony, which generated revenues of approximately \u20ac140 million in 2011 with more than 1,200 employees. Weener designs, engineers, and manufactures primarily innovative plastic closures (“Caps & Closures”), also for the personal care\/cosmetics, household, and food segments as well as for chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The product portfolio includes closure caps, valve closures, plastic bottles, jars, as well as dispensers and dosing systems. The Weener Group has production facilities in 21 countries and is represented in Europe and North America as well as in the dynamically growing countries of South and Central America, Africa, and Asia, which was incorporated into our international due diligence approach. <\/p>\n\n
