Adeleon has acquired multiweigh, a leading manufacturer of high-precision multihead weighers and specialised packaging solutions, including for the food industry. maconda, the Cologne-based consultancy specialising in niche markets in numerous sectors, supported Adeleon with a focused commercial due diligence (CDD). The analysis placed particular emphasis on multiweigh's market outlook and competitive positioning.
multiweigh specialises in complex weighing technology that is tailored to customer requirements. The company handles the engineering, construction, programming, and installation of multihead weighers for customer-specific products – all under one roof. As part of the CDD, maconda analysed multiweigh’s product range, its fields of application, and the customer groups addressed, along with their underlying markets. These are primarily in the food industry with numerous areas of application, from frozen foods and confectionery to pet food.
