The German-Dutch investment company Avedon Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in the traditional Minden-based company Wilhelm Altendorf GmbH & Co. KG. maconda supported the investment with a comprehensive commercial due diligence, which focused on the evaluation of markets, future trends and growth potential.

maconda supports EMH Partners in its investment in Occhio, the leading provider of high-quality design luminaires
maconda advises the Munich-based investment company EMH Partners on its investment in Occhio, the leading German provider of design luminaires in the high-end segment. EMH Partners is contributing growth capital in a substantial double-digit million euro amount via a capital increase, thereby acquiring a minority stake of 44%. maconda prepared the transaction with a comprehensive commercial due diligence, in which the Cologne-based consultants contributed their many years of expertise in the lighting industry.

maconda supports Findos Investor in its investment in Mos Mosh, a fast growing Scandinavian fashion label
The collections are known for special details, high-quality materials and a good target-group fit, the company is a specialist in denim and pants for the fashion-conscious woman. "Mos Mosh" is based in Kolding, southern Denmark, and is active in many European markets. At the beginning of 2017, the Munich-based family office Findos Investor invested in the up-and-coming company - advised by the consumer goods team of Cologne-based maconda GmbH.

In a mandate from the corporate investor NORD Holding, maconda's comprehensive consumer goods expertise was once again in demand. In the run-up to a majority investment concerning the bed manufacturer from Rastatt in Baden, the Cologne-based maconda team supported the Hanover-based NORD Holding with a commercial due diligence review.

In summer 2016, maconda supported the corporate investor NORD Holding in the acquisition of Parador GmbH & Co. KG from Coesfeld near Münster, a well-known manufacturer of floor coverings made of a wide range of materials. Our extensive experience with consumer goods, retail and our many years of experience as commercial due diligence advisors convinced NORD Holding to mandate maconda for this challenging project.
