Cologne-based consulting boutique maconda has prepared a focused "Commercial Review" for Viessmann, the leading German manufacturer of heating, cooling and ventilation technology, to acquire a majority stake in Elektrotermex. Elektrotermex is a Polish supplier of local and district heating transfer stations for residential and commercial properties. In the process, maconda's consultants, who are particularly experienced in niche markets, primarily evaluated Elektrotermex's success factors and growth potential in a diffuse political environment.

Sylphar, in which the Scandinavian financial investor EQT has held a stake since 2022, has developed into a leading omnichannel provider in the health and beauty business with its portfolio of strategic niche brands. In a focused commercial due diligence, the advisors at maconda, who have many years of experience in the beauty industry and with e-commerce, evaluated the branding, sales channels, e-commerce performance and growth drivers of Satin Naturel, Del Decus’ main brand.

In summer 2016, maconda supported the corporate investor NORD Holding in the acquisition of Parador GmbH & Co. KG from Coesfeld near Münster, a well-known manufacturer of floor coverings made of a wide range of materials. Our extensive experience with consumer goods, retail and our many years of experience as commercial due diligence advisors convinced NORD Holding to mandate maconda for this challenging project.
