The Cologne-based consulting boutique maconda advised the medium-sized investor Kapital 1852, which is part of the Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank, with a comprehensive commercial due diligence on the investment in May Design GmbH from Lehrte near Hanover. May is an established supplier of high-quality seating and table furniture for the hospitality segment.

maconda supports Sylphar in its participation in Del Decus, a young e-commerce provider of natural cosmetics under the brand Satin Naturel
The team of Cologne-based consulting boutique maconda has advised Belgian Sylphar International on its investment in Del Decus, a young natural face and body care company. Sylphar, in which the Scandinavian financial investor EQT has held a stake since 2022, has developed into a leading omnichannel provider in the health and beauty business with its portfolio of strategic niche brands. In a focused commercial due diligence, the advisors at maconda, who have many years of experience in the beauty industry and with e-commerce, evaluated the branding, sales channels, e-commerce performance and growth drivers of Satin Naturel, Del Decus’ main brand.

The family-run Swiss investment boutique Syz Capital, together with Saturnus Capital, acquires a majority stake in SK Pharma, a leading German specialist in contract logistics for the healthcare industry. Prior to this, an experienced team of advisors from strategy expert maconda evaluated SK Pharma's market positioning, strategy and future prospects in a comprehensive commercial due diligence.

maconda supports Benner investment company in its investment in Thonet, the traditional and well-known manufacturer of premium chairs
The Cologne-based consulting boutique maconda prepared a commercial review for the Benner family office for the acquisition of a majority stake in Thonet, the traditional German manufacturer of high-quality design classics. The consultants, who are experienced in the furniture and consumer goods industry and with premium products, evaluated the positioning of Thonet in the residential and so-called object segment for the entrepreneurial family from Wiesbaden.

maconda supports NORD Holding in the takeover of a manufacturer of high-quality floor coverings
In summer 2016, maconda supported the corporate investor NORD Holding in the acquisition of Parador GmbH & Co. KG from Coesfeld near Münster, a well-known manufacturer of floor coverings made of a wide range of materials. Our extensive experience with consumer goods, retail and our many years of experience as commercial due diligence advisors convinced NORD Holding to mandate maconda for this challenging project.
