At the end of February, maconda visited the EuroCIS in Düsseldorf, Europe's leading trade fair for technology and innovation for the retail industry. "Technology never sleeps" - under this motto, established topics such as checkout systems or software and hardware at the PoS as well as newer technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), data analytics and robotics dominated the trade fair.

The Cologne-based maconda team supported the German team of Swedish private equity investor IK Investment Partners in the acquisition of the innovative receivables management specialist Debitor-Inkasso from Bad Schwartau near Lübeck. The consultants, who are highly experienced in business-related services and business process outsourcing, analyzed the market, the competitive landscape and the legal framework.

maconda advises the Munich-based investment company EMH Partners on its investment in Occhio, the leading German provider of design luminaires in the high-end segment. EMH Partners is contributing growth capital in a substantial double-digit million euro amount via a capital increase, thereby acquiring a minority stake of 44%. maconda prepared the transaction with a comprehensive commercial due diligence, in which the Cologne-based consultants contributed their many years of expertise in the lighting industry.

The collections are known for special details, high-quality materials and a good target-group fit, the company is a specialist in denim and pants for the fashion-conscious woman. "Mos Mosh" is based in Kolding, southern Denmark, and is active in many European markets. At the beginning of 2017, the Munich-based family office Findos Investor invested in the up-and-coming company - advised by the consumer goods team of Cologne-based maconda GmbH.
